The Mastery Reps: Some Quick Wisdom From "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius

1 valuable quote for some quick wisdom today.

I started reading “Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius earlier this month.

Been slowlyyyy reading it (slower than I would like)

However -

I’ve found some banger quotes that I’ve very much enjoyed reading and thinking about.

So here we go!

Here’s a quote for you today to gain some quick yet valuable wisdom:

To be like the rock that the waves keep crashing over. It stands unmoved and the raging of the sea falls still around it

Marcus Aurelius

To be the rock means to withstand the waves that life throws at you.

Whether we want it to or not, life isn’t meant to be easy.

But in that reality lies the beauty of strength, endurance, and resilience.

A good life is a fulfilling one, and a fulfilling life is never an easy one.

Because you have to be able to withstand the struggle in order to grow and improve.

And through that betterment, waves will become easier to deal with, and they will fall back with no power over you the same way they were coming to you beforehand.

Talk soon,

Brandon Aguilera.
